Spring course -mid April to early June-

If you are looking for a bit of a thrill, Spring is the best time to experience rafting on the Shiribetsu River. At this time of year the melting snow and rainy weather push the water levels to their peak, making rafting more exciting and challenging.
We ensure that you have a fantastic time while keeping you as safe as possible. Dry suits are provided when it is cold; however, wearing jeans underneath is prohibited. Dry suits do not guarantee that you will stay completely dry, so be sure to bring a spare change of clothes.
Due to the weather conditions between mid April and early June, Shiribetsu River rafting is not available to children during this period.

Summer course - early June to October -
Meeting place:Rafting Boat House in Kyogoku
The water level is lower at this time of year, making the Summer course mellower and more suitable for families with children. We recommend you to wear T-shirts and shorts with swim suits underneath while rafting, as you can easily get wet! After you have finished swimming, why not take advantage of the summer temperatures and enjoy a dip in the river.
