NISEKO SKI SLOPES

Saizon Club

Saison Club Location

Saison Club is a remote winter wonderland, located between three major ski resorts and close to some of Niseko's most beautiful natural Hot Springs. Unlike the busy town of Hirafu, the Saison Club offers a quiet retreat of relaxation during the day and night. We hope our warm and cozy atmosphere will make you feel at home, and provide you with that needed break from the winter cold and an exhausting day on the slopes.

Niseko is a great place to base your stay in Hokkaido. From here you can access famous sightseeing places such as Otaru and Lake Toya, where the Summit will be held in 2008.

Niseko is known for its high quality powder snow, which is at its best during mid-winter. However, be assured that great skiing is available right up until the end of spring. From March until May, head to mountains such as Chisenupuri, Shakunage-dake, where you can oversee the Sea of Japan while you glide down from the top of the mountain. Mt. Yotei, also known as the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido is a breathtaking sight which shouldn't be missed.

The map on the right shows the approximate duration of travel to Saison Club by car. Please note that duration may vary depending on road conditions during winter.

POWDER SNOW SKI SLOPES IN NISEKO

With premium snow and a wide range of ski slopes, Niseko offers six world-class ski resorts. Each mountain offers unique characteristics to satisfy skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. For easy access, the three major resorts: Hirafu, Higashiyama, and Annupuri; are interlinked during the day by ski lifts which share a common lift pass. We can provide a free shuttle bus service to and from the lifts.

Niseko Grand Hirafu

Grand Hirafu, including Hanazono ski ground, is approximately 940m high with the longest run being 5,600m. It is famous for its variety of ski slopes, which are perfect for all levels of skiers- from the beginner to expert. On a fine day, you can view Mt Yotei all the way from the top to the bottom of the slopes.

Niseko Higashiyama

The courses in Niseko Higashiyama are described as narrower and steeper compared to other ski resorts. There is deep powder snow in the off-piste area between the 2 main runs in Higashiyama, where skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a challenge.

Niseko Annupuri

The Annupuri ski resort is suitable for family and beginners. In the middle of the slope, there is a wide and slow run where beginners can feel like experts! The scenery of white and silver birch trees not only provides a wonderful setting, but also a good place for beginners and intermediates to start practicing off-piste skiing or snowboarding.

Niseko Moiwa

The Moiwa ski mountain holds various ski-racing workshops, such as Alpine ski, which produces many famous professional skiers. Deep powder, which is found on the east side of the mountain, is perfect for experienced skiers and snowboarders. A famous Onsen area is located close to the mountain, providing a quiet place to soak, relax and enjoy a drink and after having a day of fun in the snow. Moiwa is virtually unknown to foreigners and therefore is generally used by locals only. Because of this, there are no line-ups for lifts and you will get fresh runs all day. If you plan to ski or snowboard in this area, be aware that is it a precious place and that any disruptions to the area or locals will not turn out in your favour.

Chisenpuri

The Chisenupuri is somewhat of a holy place for skiers and snowboarders. The off-piste area, which is located to the right of the lifts at the foot of the mountain, is wonderful. From the top of the mountain you can enjoy skiing/snowboarding, Shirakaba-dake as well as Shakunage-dake through Venus-hill to Niimi Onsen. Alternatively, you can take the course leading down to Iwanai area which offers a fantastic en-route view of the Sea of Japan. After a day of skiing/snowboarding on Chisenupuri Mountain you will want to go to Yukichichibu Onsen to soothe your body and recharge your energy for the next day!
